Hands-only CPR, which is used on teenagers and adults, has been shown to be as effective as conventional CPR for cardiac arrest at home, at work or in public and can double or even triple a victim’s chance of survival. In addition to holding Sidewalk CPR events in public spaces downtown, GCFD also conducts onsite hands-only CPR training for local businesses and community organizations. The free one-hour training is taught by GCFD personnel using CPR training manikins.
NOTICE: CPR class requests are not being accepted at this time, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
