Daylight Savings Tips for Bus Riders

With the time change, the sun now sets earlier in the evening throughout the winter months. This means that it is darker for a longer period of time - which can impact the ability for drivers to see bus riders at bus stops.

Greenlink encourages its riders to help bus drivers be aware of them waiting at the bus stop by:
1. Holding your cell phone out to wave to the oncoming bus. The light from the cell phone screen can help signal to the bus driver that you are waiting to catch the bus.
2. Wearing clothing that is easier to see. Bright and light colors will help the bus driver see you as they're approaching the bus stop.
