Augusta Street Traffic Improvement

Augusta Street Traffic Improvement Project: Road Diet Begins Sunday, March 20

Work on the Augusta Street Traffic Safety Improvement project will begin Sunday, March 20.  Road work will occur between 7PM and 6AM and lane closures will be required. Drivers traveling in this area are asked to use caution and watch out for workers.

The first phase of the plan is a road diet that will reduce Augusta Street from four lanes to three lanes.  Crews will restripe the roadway to create one lane of travel in each direction and a center turn lane.
