Downtown Merchant Association - March Meeting Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the March Downtown Merchant Association meeting. A sincere thank you to Councilmember John Deworken for joining us and sharing insight into a variety of projects happening downtown, particularly the recently passed Neighborhood Infrastructure Bond. Road Closure on S Main Street at Nose Dive - Sunday, March 27 Road closure will take place on S Main Street from McBee Avenue to Court Street. The road closure will happen on Sunday, March 27 from 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. The purpose of the closure is to allow crews to utilize a crane to replace HVAC units on the roof of 116 South Main Street. Detour routes for vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be posted.

Road Closure on S Main Street at AC Marriott Hotel - Tuesday, March 29 Road closure on S Main Street from Broad Street to Falls Park Drive will take place on Tuesday, March 29 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Drivers traveling in this area should anticipate traffic delays. South bound traffic on S Main Street will be reduced to one lane, while all north bound traffic on S Main Street will be detoured beginning at Falls Park Drive. The purpose of the closure will be to allow crews to utilize a crane to place an HVAC unit on the roof at 315 S Main.

iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival - Saturday, April 2 The 7th annual iMAGINE Upstate festival will be held on Saturday, April 2 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the heart of downtown. iMAGINE Upstate is a STEAM outreach program produced by Clemson University. This event is for all ages and supports K-20 workforce development by displaying career pathways and generating interest in high-skill industries.

Greenlink Proposing Changes to Trolley Route, Seeking Public InputGreenlink will host a series of public meetings in the coming weeks to discuss proposed changes to the West End and Attractions, seasonal trolley routes and solicit public input. The changes, which would allow Greenlink to provide service to Unity Park, would go into effect this summer.
