Downtown Merchant Association - April Meeting Mark your calendars to join us for the next Downtown Merchant Association meeting set for Tuesday, April 19 at 9 AM at M. Judson Booksellers. We will be discussing the opening of Unity Park, along with a schedule of opening events. We encourage you to invite a neighboring business located in the Central Business District to attend with you.

iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival - Saturday, April 2 The 7th annual iMAGINE Upstate festival will be held tomorrow Saturday, April 2 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the heart of downtown. iMAGINE Upstate is a STEAM outreach program produced by Clemson University. This event is for all ages and supports K-20 workforce development by displaying career pathways and generating interest in high-skill industries.

City to Host Three Open Houses on Development CodeThe City of Greenville's Development Code project team will be hosting three open houses next week for the five small study areas: North Laurens Road, McAlister Square, August-Mauldin-Pleasantburg, Greater Sullivan and Stone + Main. Representatives from each area have been working with the consultants who are writing the City's new development code to identify opportunities and issues that the code may be able to address.

Celebrating Entrepreneurship in Greenville with 1st Annual #StartupGVL Week: April 4-8The public is invited to join the City of Greenville and its partners virtually, in-person and on social media for the first annual #StartupGVL Week, April 4-8. GVL Starts included 25 members who participated in an eight-week program which covered topics such as business planning, marketing and pitching. All members of the GVL Starts cohort will pitch their businesses on GVL Starts Demo Day scheduled for Tuesday, April 5. The five finalist will then compete for three $5,000 prizes. Greenlink Proposing Changes to Trolley Route, Seeking Public InputGreenlink will host a series of public meetings in the coming weeks to discuss proposed changes to the West End and Attractions, seasonal trolley routes and solicit public input. The changes, which would allow Greenlink to provide service to Unity Park, would go into effect this summer. Greenlink has also developed an online survey at https://publicinput.com/G3560 to provide the public with an additional opportunity to share their feedback. The deadline to participate in the survey is Sunday, April 10 at 11 p.m.
