Downtown Merchant Association - Upcoming: Tuesday, June 14Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the May Downtown Merchant Association meeting this week. A sincere thank you to Eric Jarinko, Greenville Drive - General Manager, for hosting us at Fluor Field and sharing updates about the team, insight on projects and the many amazing developments happening around the stadium.
If you were unable to attend, you can view the May meeting notes at your convenience. Mark your calendars to join us next month on Tuesday, June 14, at M. Judson Booksellers. City Offices Closed on Memorial Day - Monday, May 30In observance of Memorial Day, city offices will be closed on Monday, May 30. Additional city services will be effected, please accommodate accordingly. There will be no trash, recycling or yard waste services on Monday. The pickup and collection schedule will begin on Tuesday, and will continue to be one day late for the remainder of the week. Additionally, there will be no Greenlink service on Monday; however, routes will return to a regular schedule on Tuesday.

Reduce Noise Pollution DowntownThe City is asking downtown visitors and residents to help reduce noise along Main Street by refraining from playing loud music, revving engines and alike. Violators of the city's noise ordinance will be subject to a maximum fine of $1,087. The noise ordinance signs will be displayed along Main Street spanning from NOMA Square to the West End to help bring awareness to the noise pollution campaign.

Trolley Network Changes Effective June 2 Greenlink's trolley network is making some route changes following public input and the online survey feedback collected from earlier this year. City Council Offers Initial Budget Approval Greenville City Council unanimously gave initial approval Monday night to a $237 million budget that puts significant focus on traffic and safety improvements, sidewalks, sewer system upgrades and additional personnel to improve customer service.
The City will also make targeted investments to support Council priorities including Neighborhoods & Affordable Housing; Economic Development; Recreation, Open Spaces & Sustainability; Mobility and Public Safety. Adoption of the Fiscal Year 2023 budget is expected on Monday, June 13.

ParkMobile Available in All City GaragesParkMobile is now live in all City garages, making it easier to get in and out during your next visit. It's a quick and simple process: (1) pull a ticket when you arrive (2) scan the QR code, and enter your payment information (2) insert your ticket when you leave, and you're all set. The ParkMobile app remembers your payment information for your next trip downtown.

Unity Park: Parking and Transportation OptionsComplimentary public parking is available at Unity Park. View the Unity Park parking map to familiarize yourself with the designated areas. Also, Unity Park can be accessed via the Swamp Rabbit Trail from any downtown Greenville Parking garage. The Riverplace Garage is only a 0.5. mile to Unity Park via the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and Poinsett and Richardson garages are 0.75 mile. If you are biking to the park, there are 7 bike rack stations throughout the park, offering over 100 spots to secure your wheels.
For opening weekend, Trolley service from City Hall to the Unity Park will run from 1 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.

2022 More to Enjoy Sign ApplicationThe City of Greenville is continuing its More to Enjoy wayfinding program, which features newly-designed business directory signs at key Main Street intersections. The purpose of the program is to encourage downtown visitors to discover shops and restaurants located on side streets in the Central Business District by listing business names and providing directional arrows. The signs are designed to be eye-catching, while still incorporating seamlessly into the City’s overall downtown branding campaign.
Submit an application or apply for renewal by filling out the 2022 More to Enjoy application. Space on the signs are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. For questions or more information, please email Cameron Campbell at cjcampbell@greenvillesc.gov.
