2022: An 'Extraordinary' Year for the City of Greenville

Looking back on a fruitful 2022, gains were made on all five of City Council's priorities. From opening a transformational community space, support for neighborhoods, enhanced mobility options and improving public safety these are just some of the many achievements the City of Greenville, and its residents can celebrate as the year draws to a close.

“It was an extraordinary year in the City of Greenville, from opening a signature park to unify our community on the site of once segregated land; to major investments in affordable housing and neighborhood infrastructure; to planning for quality growth in the future with the overhaul of our development code,” Mayor Knox White said. “I’m proud of the accomplishments and ready to build on the momentum in 2023.”
