Making Greenville more accessible through AccessGVL

Greenville will soon launch a new downtown accessibility initiative called Access GVL led by the City of Greenville, GreenvilleCAN, and the Barbara Stone Foundation. AccessGVL, a web-based app, is a resource guide designed to support and assist our disabled community on how best to enjoy and navigate downtown Greenville. The City of Greenville is currently evaluating and increasing the mapping capabilities to enhance navigating public spaces, such as sidewalks, parking garages, and plazas.

We are looking for restaurants to join the first phase of the accessibility initiative. If you're a restaurant interested in learning more about the accessibility efforts taking place in downtown Greenville, please contact Mike Jank, City of Greenville Risk Manager and ADA Coordinator at mjank@greenvillesc.gov .
