Road Closure: Great SCOT! Parade - Friday, May 26 Road closures will take place on Friday, May 26 on Main Street from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. during the Great Scot! Parade. The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the route will start at the Peace Center and end at Main Street and E North Street. UPDATE: Liberty Bridge Reopens on Friday, May 26The
Liberty Bridge resurfacing project is complete and the bridge is scheduled to
be reopened to pedestrian traffic tentatively at 3:00 p.m. today - Friday, May
26. The public should continue to obey onsite signage while posted.

City Offices Closed on Memorial Day - Monday, May 29In observance of Memorial Day, city offices will be closed on Monday, May 29. Additionally, city services will be effected, please accommodate accordingly. There will be no trash, recycling or yard waste services on Monday. The pickup and collection schedule will begin on Tuesday, and will continue to be one day late for the remainder of the week. Greenlink will not operate on Monday; however routes will return to a regular schedule on Tuesday.

Inaugural Greenville Jazz Fest - Saturday, June 3 Greenville's
inaugural celebration of community, culture and jazz on Main Street in less
than two weeks away! Greenville Jazz Fest will be held on Saturday, June 3 from 4:00
p.m. - 10:00 p.m. This free event will feature
a combination of national acts, including the Grammy Award-winning Rebirth
Brass Band and Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, along with local jazz groups. Additionally,
the event will bring jazz into the community by partnering with local music
venues to host jazz performances all weekend long. Guest can enjoy shows at
Horizon Records, Chicora Alley, Blues Boulevard and Rainer's Café and Bar. Downtown Merchant Association - May Meeting Recap Thank you to everyone who was able to join the May Downtown Merchant Association meeting. We were grateful to have City of Greenville - Planning Administrator, Mary Douglas Hirsch from the City's Planning and Development division there to discuss a variety of projects taking place downtown. Additionally she provided updates and answered questions regarding the proposed zoning and development code. If you were unable to attend the meeting, view the May meeting notes for a quick recap.
