Inaugural Greenville Jazz Fest - Saturday, June 3 Greenville's
inaugural celebration of community, culture and jazz on Main Street is here! Greenville Jazz Fest will be held on Saturday, June 3, from 4:00
p.m. - 10:00 p.m. This free event will feature
a combination of national acts, including the Grammy Award-winning Rebirth
Brass Band and Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, along with local jazz groups. Additionally,
the event will bring jazz into the community by partnering with local music
venues to host jazz performances all weekend long. Guest can enjoy shows at
Horizon Records, Chicora Alley, Blues Boulevard and Rainer's Café and Bar. Downtown Merchant Association - May Meeting Recap Thank you to everyone who was able to join the May Downtown Merchant Association meeting. We were grateful to have City of Greenville - Planning Administrator, Mary Douglas Hirsch, from the City's Planning and Development division there to discuss a variety of projects taking place downtown. Additionally, she provided updates and answered questions regarding the proposed zoning and development code. If you were unable to attend the meeting, view the May meeting notes for a quick recap.
