Greenville Jazz Fest to return in 2024 The Greenville Jazz Fest took place on Saturday, June 3 with a packed crowd on Main Street. The inagural festival featured 8 bands, 10 food trucks as well as poetry readings from the City's Poet Laureate, Glenis Redmond and the City's Youth Poet Laureate, Anna Castro Spratt. The festival will return as a two-day event on June 7 and 8, 2024. The event also featured music at venues around town, including Rainer's Cafe and Bar, Chicora Alley, Horizon Records and Blues Boulevard. More Info

Downtown Merchant Association - May Meeting Recap Thank you to everyone who was able to join the May Downtown Merchant Association meeting. We were grateful to have City of Greenville - Planning Administrator, Mary Douglas Hirsch, from the City's Planning and Development division there to discuss a variety of projects taking place downtown. Additionally, she provided updates and answered questions regarding the proposed zoning and development code. If you were unable to attend the meeting, view the May meeting notes for a quick recap.
