Road Closure on S Main Street at Gunter Theatre - Monday, August 7 Road closures at 320 S Main Street from Broad Street to Main Street Bridge on Monday, August 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Drivers traveling in this area should anticipate traffic delays. Traffic will be rerouted to River Street throughout closure. The purpose of the closure is to allow Harper GC to operate a crane to move material and beams for the Gunter Theatre project.

Parks, Recreation and Tourism is seeking community input!In partnership with Clemson University, the City’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism (PRT) Department is embarking on a Strategic Plan process to define a clear vision and action plan for the future of the city’s parks and open space, trails and pathways, recreation facilities and programs, services and special events. The public is invited to share their feedback through a survey as well as in-person at two public stakeholder meetings. The in-person meetings will take place on Monday, August 7 from 5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. and Thursday, August 10 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m., both sessions will be held at the Prisma Health Welcome Center at Unity Park.
